News Desk – People in Delhi and the NCR felt strong tremors on Thursday morning after an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude struck Jhajjar district in Haryana. The quake hit at 9:04 AM, with a depth of 10 km, according to the National Centre for Seismology.

The tremors were felt across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and other nearby areas.
In Haryana, areas like Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, and Dadri also experienced shaking.
The impact reached as far as Meerut and Shamli in western Uttar Pradesh.
How People Reacted
Many people rushed out of their homes and offices as fans, lights, and computers started swaying.
Some said on social media that it was the “longest earthquake” they had ever felt.
