An official has confirmed that the Delhi Public School in the RK Puram area of the nation’s capital got a bomb threat on Friday.
After receiving the bomb threat, the school was quickly evacuated and a search operation was launched with the assistance of sniffer dogs and members of the bomb squad, according to the official. Meanwhile, students are being instructed to leave the school grounds at this same moment, according to video shot inside.
“Students can also be seen coming out of the school in a queue,” the video states.Â
The statement from the senior officer read: “Police teams are carrying out search operations and more details will be shared once the operation is completed.”
In September of last year, the Delhi Police School in RK Puram, southwest Delhi, was the intended recipient of a bomb threat; however, it turned out to be an email. When news of two explosive devices reached the school mail at 9 a.m., the administration wasted no time in notifying the police. The cops ordered the students to leave the school. So yet, no one has found anything at the school, but the investigation is continuing. A police crew and a bomb squad are investigating. Police have informed the sender that they are keeping tabs on their IP address.
Simultaneously, it was later discovered that an email claiming to originate from RK Puram’s Lal Bahadur Shastri School about a bomb threat on campus was in fact bogus.
Simultaneously, in May, a similar bomb threat email was sent to the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road. Two bomb threats were addressed to the Indian School in Sadiq Nagar on April 12, 2023. The first one was a November 2022 phone call. Unfortunately, it was all a hoax.
The police have launched a search operation in an attempt to apprehend the individual or individuals responsible for the most recent incident of a false bomb threat.
The authorities were promptly notified and have been carrying out a search operation for the last two hours. Thus far, detectives on the constant trail of the above mission have not detected anything possibly shady. Another high priority for us is safety, all students and staff at the school are in focus, so we regularly check on reports about the situation.
In view of their investigations finding nothing suspicious, the police have deemed the threat in email to be invalid with regard to reality. Further investigation from fascinated detectives revealed that the email had come from a student’s email. An other exactly same email fraud happened to the Indian School in Sadiq Nagar, capital of the country one year before this month last April.
Nevertheless, it is claimed that the fear of terrorism can be a direct consequence of issues such as lack consciousness by individuals who don’t see the seriousness imminent dangers they face, attention seekers and technology availability which makes it easy for terrorists to cause havoc.
Hoax bomb threats focus on the negative impact that such acts have upon a particular field, in this case education. They manage to do it by starting with school closures down to the evacuation of students and other disruptions for lesson plans. In other cases, traumatization of the students would be another added consequence.
