Here, the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) has found a new partner in the form of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the ruthlessness from the Congress in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Both will contest the upcoming assembly elections together. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will announce this at the Tribal Mahasammelan to be held in Bharuch on the foundation day of Gujarat on May 1. BTP national president Mahesh Vasava and AAP’s Gujarat convener Gopal Italia announced an alliance between the two parties. During this, he told that BTP founder and MLA Chhotu Bhai Vasava was in touch with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal even before the election results of Punjab. Both the parties will fight the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections together. He said that on May 1, Adivasi Sankalp Mahasammelan will be held in Chanderia village of Bharuch. BTP has two MLAs in Gujarat and three in Rajasthan.

Earlier there was an alliance between BTP and Congress, but in the last Lok Sabha elections, Chhotu Vasava had distanced himself from the Congress after not leaving the Bharuch seat. Congress wants some momentum before the start of the election.
