The festivities got underway in the afternoon with a magnificent procession that included eighteen magnificent tableaux that portrayed the persona of Lord Ram. The Uttar Pradesh government organized the seventh Deepotsav, or Diwali, celebration in Ayodhya on Saturday. According to the media, the festivities started with a magnificent Deepotsav procession that included eighteen regal and celestial tableaux that portrayed the persona of Lord Ram. Minister of Tourism and Culture Jaiveer Singh led that procession.
This magnificent procession served as a platform for religious expression for artists from all around the nation. On this occasion, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which is still under construction, has also been decorated. Additionally, devotees at the Ram Janam Bhoomi in Ayodhya prayed to Lord Ram. Singh claimed that a new record for lighting the most diyas globally will be set, as reported. This festival of lights will witness Lord Rama’s coronation, performed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The presence of diplomats from fifty major nations during Lord Ram’s coronation is going to be the most significant aspect.
The cultural message arising from this celebration will reverberate on the international scene, bringing the essence of Indian Sanatan culture to audiences across the globe, Singh continued. Ayodhya is the treasured jewel of India. Anandiben Patel, the state’s governor, and Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, participated in the drawing of a chariot pulling artists who portrayed the mythical 14-year exile of Lord Ram, his wife Sita, and brother Lakshman back to Ayodhya. They also received flowers from a helicopter. Speaking on the occasion, Adityanath remarked that when the Deepotsav program started, it seemed as though everyone was hoping for the completion of the city’s Ram Temple.
When we started Ayodhya’s Deepotsav seven years ago, things were unclear. But, he added, it has grown into a significant program and an international event. The chief minister went on to say that Prime Minister Modi’s establishment of ‘Ram Rajya” in India following his victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections is strengthened by the building of the Ram Temple.
Twenty-two lakh diyas light up in Ayodhya
A world record was set when more than 22 lakh traditional earthen lamps, or diyas, at 51 ghats of the Saryu river were lit simultaneously in the temple city. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path is also being decked out in various floral arrangements in honor of Deepotsav as part of the festivities.
In an attempt to break the world record, more than 25,000 volunteers from Avadh University and the Ayodhya district government were asked to light the diyas concurrently. At the event, a team from the Guinness Book of World Records Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, was awarded a certificate for the achievement of Brijesh Pathak. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, told the media today that all hospitals are kept ready to handle any emergency. At Deepotsav, a new record will be set today. Over fifty countries’ envoys are scheduled to attend this event today. According to him, all hospitals are on alert mode in case there is an incident brought on by firecrackers going off.
