Lucknow: This day is very unforgettable for all the students who get the degree, because on their shoulders comes the responsibility of proving identity, achieving a milestone in life. These expressions were expressed by the Governor and Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Smt Anandiben Patel while addressing the fifth convocation ceremony of Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti Bhasha University today. He said that the students of the institute will provide positive contribution to the progress of family, society and nation along with them. On this occasion, the Governor awarded 85 medals to 75 students, out of which 40 medals were awarded to students and 45 medals to female students, out of which 4 gold medals were awarded to Maryam Hafeez.
The Governor said that there is a mutual relationship between education and society. Education develops the sense of society in a person and he imbibes the spirit of respect, coordination and cooperation towards all the parts of the society. In this way, education is an important contribution to make a person a full citizen and to become a conscious citizen. He said that right and meaningful education coordinates the individual’s personal and social objectives and motivates him to choose his life goals and to achieve that goal.
Mrs. Anandiben Patel said that language provides expression to any person. Accumulation and expansion of knowledge is not possible without language. He said that in the last few decades, there has been a huge reduction in the number of research works at the local level in the field of language. Therefore, in the field of language, research work needs to be promoted. Also, special efforts need to be made to conserve the extinct languages.
