Lucknow: DG health Dr. Vedvrat Singh, is not happy with the report of CMO Ballia’s report in the case of a man carried his wife on cart to the hospital. Dr. Singh marked the inquiry to Additional Director. The pictures of the incident in Ballia gone viral on Monday and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak ordered DG Health to enquire about the all episode why the man didn’t get the ambulance. In that context Dr. Singh called the report from CMO Ballia which he sent on Tuesday, but the report has many loopholes.
Dr. Singh in a conversation told that, the report says that the person named, Sakul Prajapati hadn’t any mobile so he wasn’t able to dial the number to get the ambulance. He added that, the report isn’t very much clear because there are many questions unanswered, as, why asha worker hadn’t helped her, if the person hadn’t mobile. Similarly there are many loopholes at every step. So the inquiry is marked to AD of the department. The report is expected in next 48 hours. 

It is the case 

The incident is of 28th March, of Andaur village in district Ballia. The man in the viral video is native of the village in Chilkar block, named Sakul Prajapati. He carried out his wife Jogni to the hospital on a cart. He reached to the health centre which was three kilometers away from his residence. The doctors there gave medicine and reffered Prajapati’s wife to the district hospital. Sakul left his wife on the cart at Piyaria village, returned to home for taking money and clothes before going to the district hospital. He took wife to the hospital on mini-truck. At last his wife died, people are alleging that she died before she brought to the hospital while, officials says that she died during treatment. Whereas Prajapti said that the hospital refused to provide an ambulance to take the body home. According to Prajapati, officials of the hospital said that, the service was not available at night.
