Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed on taking utmost care to break the chain of infection of Covid-19 and said that Unlock does not mean freedom. He has directed to ensure strict adherence to social distancing. He said that it should be ensured that no more than 05 people gather in public places. Effective patrolling by the police should prevent the mob from gathering.
The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlock system at a high level meeting convened at his government residence here today. He said that a provision has been made to provide relaxation in areas outside the Containment Zone in a phased manner. Under this, various activities are to be exempted from June 8, 2020. He directed Additional Chief Secretary Home to issue guidelines regarding the protocol of these activities to be allowed.
The Chief Minister said that it is the resolve of the state government that no one sleep on the road. In the Prime Minister’s package, there is a provision of building construction to provide houses for workers and workers on rent. Keeping this in view of the interests of the workers, this provision should be used to its fullest, so that safe and convenient housing can be provided at affordable rent for the workers.
