Raisen (MP): A 24-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into a well with two minor daughters in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, the police said on Thursday. The woman had two daughters. One was eight-month-old and the other was three-year-old.

Immediately after the incident, the husband of the woman Parvati Bai, Ramkrishna Lodhi informed the police about the incident late Wednesday night. The bodies were fished out of the well. The police said that the woman and her husband were living away from their relatives and parents. He, however, said that he had no dispute with his wife. The police were trying to probe the motive for the suicide.
