New Delhi: The impact of bird flu is increasing in many states of the country amid Corona epidemic. Lakhs of birds have died in the last ten days. Union Minister Sanjeev Balayan has said about bird flu that bird flu has been confirmed in Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. For control and monitoring, the central government has created a control room in Delhi, which will be in touch with the states. After the confirmation of bird flu in Alappuzha and Kottayam districts of Kerala, the government has declared a disaster in the state and issued a high alert. No bird flu cases have been confirmed so far in Maharashtra.
Several states including Delhi Haryana have issued an alert regarding bird flu. The Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department has admitted that more than 4 lakh chickens have died in 20 poultry farms in Barwala area of Haryana Panchkula. Now advisory has also been issued. Samples have been sent to Jalandhar for investigation, report is awaited. The government has issued advisory saying that in areas where there is no disease, poultry products can be cooked and eaten. The Delhi government has asked the State Nodal Animal Husbandry Department to immediately report any case of bird death. The Himachal government has issued an alert and banned the sale of fish, poultry and eggs in four subdivisions of Kangra to overcome the situation.
In Kerala, 12 thousand ducklings have died in a few days, after which Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are taking precautions. A large number of ducks and chickens have been burnt here. Thousands of birds have also been found dead in Himachal. In view of the danger of bird flu, the Madhya Pradesh government has stopped the poultry business from some states of South India for a few days. Bird flu has been confirmed here after the death of crows in ten districts. In addition to the death of crows in four districts of Rajasthan, Jhalawar Baranka, Jaipur and Kota, more than 200 chickens have been found dead in Rajganj mandi of Kota. Which has caused a stir. Of the 110 samples sent for investigation, 25 have been reported positive.
