Lucknow: Tuberculosis is a serious disease, it remains a challenge for all of us. To beat it, we have to make a plan of action in a planned way. This idea was given by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandiben Patel at a program organized in Raj Bhavan on the occasion of the inauguration of ‘Active Tuberculosis Search Campaign’ from January 2 to 12. She said that Uttar Pradesh and the country have to be made TB-free. For this, we have to seriously identify patients suffering from tuberculosis in old age homes, nurseries, prisons, slums and labor settlements, Anganwadi centers and primary schools. The Governor said that it would be appropriate that along with TB, HIV and malnourished children should also be added to this campaign.
The Governor said that good work has been done by the voluntary organizations at the time of Corona. The reason for this was that the government and its team as well as the public were supported. He said that after making a list through voluntary organizations in Varanasi, malnourished and tuberculosis children were adopted and taken care of. Such children were adopted by many officers and due to proper care and nutrition many children have also become healthy, this is a very good initiative. He said that in this way the officers of all the districts should play their active role in this sacred work. They should meet the affected children and their parents, keep a dialogue and try to connect them with the mainstream by taking fruits, sweets etc. for them Go to their home, thus they will be emotionally connected and many children will get out of TB in 6-7 months.
