Earlier, chairperson of the Women’s Commission in Delhi, Swati Maliwal, wrote a letter to the Central Government and demanded an action against the perfume company, saying that the advertisements are against women. She also questioned the content of the perfume company for publicity, which has gone viral on social media.

Two advertisements in the name of ‘Shot’ have gone viral on social media. One of the advertisements shows that a boy and a girl are alone in a room. Three of his friends enter the room and say to the boy, “Have you taken the shot?” When the boy replies in affirmative, the girl gets the shock of her life.

Then another boy enters the room and says, “It’s my turn.” On hearing this, the girl is so scared that she cannot even utter a single word. The boy, however, moves towards the shelf where a bottle of ‘Shot’ has been kept. On seeing the bottle of shot, the girl becomes normal.

Another advertisement shows a grocery shop where four boys are present. A girl, clad in a skirt, enters the shop and begins to take out goods from a shelf. As she bends forward at the time of taking out a few items from the shelf, one of the boys says, “We are four and she is alone. Who will take the first shot?” As soon as the girl hears it, she becomes scared, but when she comes to know that they are talking about the perfume, “Shot” kept on the shelf, a scary smile flashes across her face.
