New Delhi: Mohtamim of the Islamic educational institution Darul Uloom and caretaker national president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind (Maulana Mahmood Madni faction) Maulana Syed Qari Usman Mansoorpuri, died today. Qari Usman was 76 years old, after recovering from a corona infection, his health was deteriorating for the last several days, due to which he was admitted to Medanta. At about one o’clock in the night, his health suddenly deteriorated after which he was put on ventilator.
Maulana Syed Qari Usman Mansoorpuri was corona infected on 6th May. After which he had isolated himself at home. He was being treated at home under the supervision of doctors, but due to weakness, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after consulting the doctors. Where doctors put him in ICU .
Maulana Syed Qari Usman Mansoorpuri was the son-in-law of the great freedom fighter Maulana Hussain Ahmed Madani. He was for a long time Naib Mohtamim of Darul Uloom Deoband, a world-renowned Islamic educational institution. Maulana Usman Mansoorpuri used to teach Hadith. In 2008, he was appointed national president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind (Mahmood Madani faction). Last year, the Shoora Committee appoint him the Mohtamim of Darul Uloom Deoband. Qari Usman Mansoorpuri was conferred with the title of Amir-ul-Hind after the death of the great freedom fighter Maulana Syed Asad Madani. After his death, a wave of mourning has raged in the Islamic world.
