Jabalpur: Head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Mohan Bhagwat has said Prime Minister is a Swyamsevak and Pracharak and even today he is working as a Pracharak.
Bhagwat made the statement at a function in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday. Whenever the name of the Sangh comes up, people mentioned the name of Modiji who has also been a Sangh Swayamsevak and Pracharak, and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad is also run by the Swayamsevaks, he said.
Nevertheless, the Sangh never directly or remote controls them, they work independently but can only advise them, he said. Many intellectuals and prominent people were present at the event. India has not become one nation on the grounds of language, trading interest, political power and thought, he said, adding that it has become one nation on the grounds of unity in diversity.
Sangh works for organising Sakhas and influence people to work for the nation, he said, adding that one person or one organisation or one political outfit cannot bring about big changes. He said Hindutva means philosophy of embracing all, the Preamble of the Indian Constitution is the prime spirit of Hindutva only.
