PM Modi launches extension of ‘Swamitva Yojana’ across India

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the distribution of e-property cards under the Swamitva Yojana across the country.

On the occasion of the Panchayati Raj Diwas, in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the PM digitally distributed the property cards (Gharauni) to 57,401 villagers of 425 villages of Uttar Pradesh.

It is a matter of fact that Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of CM Yogi, is at the forefront of providing ‘gharauni’ to the real owners of the houses. A total of 1409 villages of Uttar Pradesh have got the benefit of this scheme till now.

Over 4.09 lakh property owners across the nation have been given their e-property cards, paving the way for villagers to use the property as a financial asset for taking loans and other financial benefits.
