Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that other states will have to take permission from the state government to give employment to the workers of Uttar Pradesh. Actually, the Yogi government has decided to create a Migration Commission for the employment of returned migrant workers in the state. On Sunday, CM Yogi said that any other state, which wants laborers from UP, will have to take its permission. He said that all workers are our people and if some states want them back, they have to get permission from the state government.
Giving information about the Migration Commission, CM Yogi said that under this commission, various facts related to the rights of migrant workers will be looked into and socio-economic and legal support will be ensured for them. For this, it has been proposed to prepare an official framework so that they can also be exploited.
According to the state chief secretary Avnish Awasthi, about 2.5 million workers have returned to the state during this period. Regarding the migrants, CM Yogi has directed that a Migration Commission will be set up for this. Avnish Awasthi said that CM Yogi has ordered the authorities to provide insurance to migrant workers so that their lives can be protected. Awasthi said that the Chief Minister has also suggested that a scheme be launched to ensure job security of these people.
