At the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a formal greeting to visiting Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Frederiksen landed in India earlier today for a three-day tour.
Meenakshi Lekhi, the Minister of State for External Affairs, welcomed Frederiksen, who is on her maiden state visit to India, at the Delhi airport.

On Saturday, the Danish prime minister paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Frederiksen will meet with President Ram Nath Kovind and undertake bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her visit.
She’ll also meet with think tanks, students, and civil society representatives. S Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, visited Denmark early this year.

Renewable energy, clean technologies, water and waste management, agriculture and animal husbandry, science and technology, digitalization including ICT, smart cities, shipping, and other industries have a strong partnership.
