Another incident of conversion was reported in Karnataka, where three young missionaries were booked for reportedly converting the Hindus to Christianity. This is not the first time when an incident like such was reported in Karnataka, the state remains vulnerable to forceful religious baptism.

According to the official police statement, a local resident named Ravi lodged a complaint against the missionaries who were found allegedly converting the Hindus to Christianity. Among the three two were identified as females.

The incident was reported late on Sunday evening when the missionaries came to Ravi’s house and started abusing Hindu demi-gods, Following which Ravi got furious and lodged a complaint against them.

According to Ravi’s complaint, the three missionaries assured his family protection and financial security if he gets converted, further, the accused said that one can only be blessed if he gets converted to Christianity along with his family.

Following this the missionaries have said that celebrating Hindu festivals is a blind belief, further, they claimed that there is only one god and a belief in 36 crore gods is an act of foolishness.

No sooner did the Hindu Group activists come to learn about the incident than they rushed to Ravi’s residence and got hold of the accused. The police have ensured of a fresh investigation into the matter, The police also questioned the missionaries late on Sunday night. Further investigation of the matter is on.
