Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that instructions were given to increase the testing capacity of covid-19 to one and a half lakh tests daily. UP Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the Chief Minister held a meeting this morning on covid. Instructions have been given to prepare an action plan for micro analysis in Lucknow and Kanpur Nagar. Instructions have also been given to increase contact tracing and door-to-door survey.
Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the Chief Minister has said that the market should be opened from 9 am to 9 pm. Now shops will open on Saturday also. It will be closed on Sunday. That is, it will remain completely closed from 12 pm on Saturday night to 12 pm on Sunday night.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to increase covid-19 testing capacity in the state soon and take one and a half lakh tests per day. Yogi said that unless an effective drug or vaccine is developed by covid-19, maximum testing is the biggest weapon against it. Therefore, efforts should be continued to increase the testing work.
The Chief Minister said that the markets should open from 9 am to 9 pm, weekly closure of the markets in the state should be scheduled on Sunday. Yogi was reviewing the unlocked system at a high level meeting here on Tuesday. He said that a team of specialist doctors should be constituted in the district of Lucknow, which will provide advice to overcome the health related problems of the public on the digital platform.
