As a result, security was beefed up at Delhi borders including Singhu and Ghazipur borders, including Singhu and Ghazipur, ahead of the demonstration called by the farmers organisations.  Samyukta Kisan Morcha called a Mahapanchayat in which farmers from different parts of the country are taking part, sources said. The Delhi administration has beefed up security measures in the city. Abhimanyu Singh Kohar said that it was a day-long protest to demand legal guarantee for minimum support price (MSP).
