New Delhi: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has now decided to move towards the agricultural universities of the country to connect the youth with the movement and to discuss the laws. The first program under this decision will be held on April 3 at the Agricultural University in Ludhiana.
At the press conference held on the Kundli border on Tuesday, the head of the United Kisan Morcha said that many big writers have already told in their books why the new laws are harmful to the farmers. Recently, in his book, Sardar Jogindra Singh Toor has clearly stated how these laws will make farmers indebted and pauper. He told that farmers are not getting the prices of crops, due to which about 10 lakh farmers have committed suicide so far. Ever since these three black laws have come and where they have come into force, the examples are frightening.
Referring to one case, Dr. Darshan Pal said that in Madhya Pradesh, fake traders bought crop and gave fake checks and they got bounced. Such cases will increase in the country. He said that the farmers have been struggling along the Delhi border for at least the support price for the last four months and now this movement has spread across the country. Now the Modi government will have to melt in the fire of this mass movement. The Modi government will have to accept the legitimate demands of the farmers.
He said that to strengthen the movement, now farmers leaders of the United Front will reach agricultural universities and discuss with the youth. In this episode, Agriculture University of Ludhiana is being started from April 3. After this, a similar program will be organized in the Agricultural University of Haryana. In which many farmers associations across the country will discuss agricultural laws in front of the youth.
