Kanpur: After the death of 8 policemen during the Kanpur encounter, Uttar Pradesh Police is engaged in the search for Vikas Dubey. However, till now the infamous Vikas Dubey has not been caught by the police. A reward of Rs 2.5 lakh has also been kept for those who give his address. Amidst all this, 10 constables were transferred from Kanpur police line to Chaubepur police station last night.
According to Kanpur IGP Mohit Agarwal, policemen of Chaubepur police station are under questioning in the suspicion of Vikas Dubey’s informant and investigation is going on. For this reason, 10 constables from the police line have been posted at the Chaubepur police station. The order was issued at midnight on behalf of SSP Dinesh Kumar.
Police search operation is going on regarding Vikas Dubey. Posters have also been put up in Hapur and Firozabad. Besides, prize money has also been increased. Apart from this, the police has also clamped down on Vikas Dubey’s maid, some relatives and neighbors. Police suspect that Vikas Dubey may also flee to Nepal.
