Kanpur: On the Kanpur encounter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain. Those responsible for this will not be spared. Yogi Adityanath has said that the family of the martyrs will be given one crore rupees, pension and a government job. In Kanpur encounter, 8 policemen were killed and two criminals were also killed. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Kanpur directly and went to the hospital, where he took care of the injured. He also paid tribute to the martyred policemen.

Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has said that we will soon get to the bottom of the case. Awasthi said on Friday, “Police action is going on and two criminals have also been killed in the encounter. The borders have been sealed and SSPs are ‘supervising’ many teams. There is action in the morning. There are also STF teams from here and Lucknow. We will soon get to the root of the case and take the culprits to jail, where they should be. “

On the question of whether the criminals were already aware that the police were going to come here, Awasthi said that all these possibilities are being detected by the teams and investigation is being done from every aspect. When asked whether the AK-47 was used in the crime, the DGP said that only after investigation can be told which weapons were used by the criminals.
