New Delhi: Dr. Mahesh Verma Committee has submitted its report to the Delhi Government. According to sources, the report said that ‘Delhi’s health care infrastructure should be used only for Delhi residents. If Delhi’s health care infrastructure is opened for outsiders, then all the beds will be filled within three days.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sought suggestions from the people of Delhi after sealing Delhi’s border on June 1. On June 2, he formed an expert committee of 5 members. Dr. Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor of IP University is the chairman of this committee.
The committee had to tell how the overall preparation of hospitals in Delhi is. Will Delhi hospitals be able to take loads of patients from Delhi and outside Delhi? The need for development of health infrastructure in Delhi was also to tell the committee about any other area where it is necessary to strengthen the infrastructure of health facilities for better management of Covid19 in Delhi.
