New Delhi: Former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel has passed away. He was 92 years old. He was ill and admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad.
According to the information, he was taken to the hospital on Thursday morning after complaining of breathlessness. He was counted among the veteran leaders of Gujarat. Keshubhai Patel was also found infected with the corona virus some time ago. However, they also managed to recover from it.
Keshubhai Patel was the Chief Minister of Gujarat twice. He held the post of Chief Minister of the state in 1995 and 1998. Both times Keshubhai Patel could not complete his tenure. It was only after Keshubhai’s resignation in 2001 that Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat and held the post till 2014.
