New Delhi: The country’s eminent neurologist and Padma Shri awardee Dr Ashok Panagariya has passed away. He was suffering from lung problem. After getting corona infected, he had a serious infection in his lungs. He breathed his last on Friday at 3.46 pm.
Let us inform that Panagariya felt the symptoms of corona on 24 April. After investigation, he was admitted to RUHS Hospital in Jaipur on 25 April. But when he did not get relief here, he was admitted to EHCC Hospital in Jaipur. A few days ago, when Panagariya’s health was very bad, then the rumor of his death also spread on social media. Then the hospital administration had denied this news.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has condoled the death of Dr. Ashok Panagariya. He tweeted, “My deepest condolences on the passing away of nationally renowned, well-known neurologist, Padma Shri awardee Dr. Ashok Panagariya. Dr. Panagariya, while holding important positions, rendered remarkable services in the medical field. And played an important role in the state as a medical expert even in the time of Covid epidemic.
