Earthquake tremors in Ladakh

Jammu: Earthquake tremors are felt once again in Ladakh on Thursday. The National Center for Seismology has reported that there is an 11-minute earthquake in 119 km north-northwest of Kargil. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.

Earlier on June 30, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck Jammu and Kashmir. This information was given by the National Center for Seismology. The earthquake struck at 11.32 pm on Tuesday night, with its center located at a depth of five kilometers. There was no report of loss of life or property.

The epicenter of the June 26 earthquake in Ladakh was at a depth of 25 kilometers. No damage was caused by the earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake was Ladakh and tremors were felt in most parts of the Kashmir Valley and Kishtwar and Doda in Jammu. The Himalayan region is very sensitive to earthquakes.
