Delhi felt earthquake tremors once again

Delhi-NCR region have been felt earthquake tremors about 14 times in the last two months

New Delhi: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in and around the capital of the country. According to the information received, it was a low intensity earthquake and its tremors were felt around 1 pm on Monday. Its intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 2.1.

According to the National Earthquake Center (NCS), the epicenter of this low intensity earthquake was close to Gurugram in Haryana. The NCS said that the epicenter of the earthquake was located on the Delhi-Gurugram border and it came 18 kilometers below the earth at 1 pm.

Several earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi NCR since April this year. In the Delhi-NCR region, earthquake tremors have been felt about 14 times in the last two months. In such a situation, it is also being feared that this is not a sign of any major earthquake. All the 13 recently recorded earthquakes in Delhi-NCR are of low to medium intensity. They were recorded from 12 April to 3 June. Their intensity ranges from 1.8 to 4.5 (in Rohtak).
