According to information, on January 1, MLA Sunil Saraf celebrated his birthday. A program was organized at the MLA’s house on the occasion of his birthday. Some Congress leaders were present in the program after all the people had left. Dancing to film songs. During this, the MLA did Harsh firing. Thankfully no one was hurt in this firing.

As soon as the song ‘ Main Hoon Don’ played in the birthday program. The Congress MLA could not restrain himself. The MLAs reached the stage dancing to the tune. He took out his licensed revolver and fired. Someone made a video of it and made it viral on social media.

After the video of MLA Saraf’s firing surfaced, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that it is wrong for the Congress MLA to dance while waving a pistol like this. Anuppur SP has been instructed to take action.

The gun with which MLA Saraf is seen firing is his own licensed gun. Which was taken by the MLA for his own safety after a night dispute a year back. Manoj Soni, block president of Congress, and Badri Tamarkar, husband of the vice-president of Kotma Municipality, were present on the stage when the MLA fired.

Congress MLA from Kotma assembly seat Sunil Saraf has done diploma from Polytechnic College. After this, he did his graduation from Shahdol. Sunil Saraf’s father is a colliery employee. Sunil was working as a Congress worker for many years.

Before this, he had not contested any election. Got a ticket from the Kotma assembly in 2018. He reached the assembly for the first time by defeating BJP’s Dilip Jaiswal.
