National7 ITBP personnel die as bus falls into roadside river

Srinagar: Seven troopers of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) died after a bus carrying 37 personnel fell into a roadside river in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam area on Tuesday, officials said. Many others suffered injuries in the accident. When the accident occurred, the ITBP personnel were returning to their barrack after completing their duties related to Amarnath Yatra.

As the condition of the six injured troopers deteriorated, they were airlifted to Srinagar, sources further said. The brake of the bus failed leading to the accident.
