It was December 2020 when the movie Wonder Woman 1984 was released all over the world. I could get to watch the movie only in January 2021 in a nearby theatre. The movie was dubbed in Hindi and it helped me understand a lot of the dialogues that probably I could have missed out on because I am not used to watching and understanding English movies well.
Ruturaj Gaikwad has been absolutely wonderful to watch: Ashwin
The message that I took from the movie was when Diana said our power lies in our personal choices. When we chose world betterment, we have to sacrifice our personal gains. So when Diana was given a choice to live with her dead boyfriend who had become alive again because she had wished for the same or she saves the world from living in false hopes, she chose to save the world and let her boyfriend go back to where he came from.
Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh to star in Hindi adaptation of ‘Ray Donovan’
The movie came at the time of the coronavirus pandemic when we are so much into thinking about our well-being, our happiness, and our profit that we kept on complaining to everyone when we were asked to stay back home in order to curb the spread of the virus. It is for the betterment of everyone that people remained at home and for the greater good. People who know how it feels when a loved one is lost in the pandemic, realize the importance of social distancing, wearing a mask, sanitizing or washing hands, etc.
Yet the pandemic is not over and there are many assumptions made by people that they can get back to normal, roam around like how they used to do earlier, and be carefree. Remember your carelessness and your personal gains shouldn’t cost someone their world. Be safe and maintain the COVID-19 protocols as much as you can.
