We need to take a break now! Yes from the COVID-19 info

It has been almost two months that we are gripped with constant updates about how deadly the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic is. Top news companies are making sure to give us an accurate update about how gloomy the situation of the country is becoming on a daily basis. As we see the rising number of cases, we also find news about the deaths of known personalities, frontline workers, common people, and our mobile also keeps ringing with updates on WhatsApp groups about how near and dear ones are losing their loved ones.

If we continue consuming such deadly news about disease, deaths, uncertain future, we are going to soon turn to be a depressed individual in the coming months. So, irrespective of whether the virus catches us or not, our mind and thoughts are going to be consumed by COVID-19 for surely and we will become addicted to reading and knowing everything about coronavirus disease as if we are preparing for its exams to get certified from a university about the knowledge and information we have gained on the disease.

Strong or weak, men or women, young or adult -everyone has a heart that needs to be cared for properly. The heart doesn’t know to feel on its own unless we keep feeding information on our brain. So, if you keep feeding about coronavirus for even one or two hours every day and keep knowing each and every detail about its impact on the country and the world, you are likely to go through many other health issues. Thus, I think you should take a break and minimize your daily consumption of news, be it from television or newspapers or websites/apps.

There goes a saying that “the more you focus on something on a daily basis, the more it grows inside you”. So, if you focus on the good, you will find yourself having good feelings of love, affection, care, happiness, etc. I am not saying you to stay away from the news completely but only consume it at a limited level for the betterment of your health and mind.
