No longer available are these heritage places for tourism

Heritage places are something that every common man would like to see once in their lifetime. Whenever a person plans to travel to distant places, he surely checks out which heritage places can he visit when planned a tour to a particular location. Today we shall explore some heritage places that are unfortunately no longer visible due to their own reasons.

1) Remember Buddha statues in Afghanistan? Unfortunately, they were blasted by the Taliban group in 2001 and the world watched the horrible horror. Travelers can no longer be able to witness the Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan and cannot visit the destination anymore due to its destruction.

2) Syria had a beautiful ancient city of Palmyra which has been restricted for travelers several times in the past. It is highly unrecommended for people to visit the location. Moreover, the ongoing war in Syria has made the city destroyed leading to the destruction of the beautiful pieces of architecture that had ancient history and civilization in store. In 2015, ISIL removed some prominent statues and the popular Tower of Elhabel.

3) Agadez in Niger is the largest city ranked on number 5. It has stunning houses which were even acknowledged as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. However, the 2007 violence almost restricted all the tourism activities in the region. Even the 15th and 16th-century historic architecture can be witnessed in the region but now that the tourism is shut there, people are not allowed.

4) How can one forget the Simena village of Turkey? If people and reports are to be believed then this village of Simena cannot be accessed by road transport in the country. It is because the remains of the Lycian civilization were destroyed by earthquakes. It is also reported that there is no electricity in this village yet.
