Aurangabad is a city in Maharashtra that is visited by many tourists for the various attractions that the tourism capital of the state holds. The city has a plethora of options for visitors to enjoy sightseeing, buy beautiful silk items and garments, and relish the amazing foods that are prepared in the fantastic Maharashtrian style.

If one plans to go to Aurangabad, then it has to be a trip of 2-3 days as there are many things that one can explore and enjoy doing in the city.

1) Aurangabad Caves has been in origin since the sixth and seventh centuries. It provides a delightful view to the visitors as it has 10 caves in total to explore. One can check out the caves at different locations such as the Western Group Caves and Eastern Group Caves. Don’t worry it won’t hit your pocket as the fees to enter the caves would be budget-friendly and the timings are also from 9am to 5pm to explore the locations that are situated just 1km apart.

2) Yalla Yalla is a brand new location that has attracted good crowds so far. It is famous for the North India menu food that it offers to people who visit Aurangabad. Meat lovers just enjoy the mutton dum biryani there and seafood lovers also get what they want to satisfy their food cravings. You can enjoy lunch or dinner at this dining space and the cost ranges as per your food order.

3) If you have been to Aurangabad and not visited Bibi-Ka-Maqbara then people will just laugh at you because it is such a beautiful place of Rabia-ul-Daurani who was the wife of the Mughal king Aurangzeb. The architecture is pure of the Mughal era and you will just fall in love with the Persian architect who created this artistic wonder. You should ideally visit this place by 8 am as the morning sun rays make you get the mausoleum’s reflection on the water.

There are surely many other places you can check out like Valley of the Sufi saints in Khuldabad, Ajanta, and Ellora caves, Bhoj restaurant for Maharashtrian food thallis, and offer your prayers at the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Daulatabad.
