As human beings, we all want to travel and explore the world and thus, tourism has to be open for all to enjoy and have fun. It means the social and economic advantages of tourism should be fair and available for all. World Tourism Day 2021 focuses on promoting and sharing prosperity with economies and societies that are marginalized and left behind from the progress path. The day aims to build inclusive and sustainable development.

Tourism for inclusive development and growth calls for the unity of the whole world and the global tourism community to revive the travel and tourism sector keeping in view the prosperity of the people. In the pre-pandemic era also, the tourism industry had shown how it acts as a powerful tool to fight against poverty and promote social and economic inclusion of vulnerable groups. This practice forms the basis of inclusive tourism after the pandemic times.

World Tourism Day has been celebrated every year on 27 September since 1980, it has founded by the United Nations World Tourism Organization to spread awareness and importance about tourism all over the world.
