A planned city in India owned by CIDCO, Navi Mumbai is located on the west coast of the Indian subcontinent in the Konkan division of the state of Maharashtra. You can travel to Navi Mumbai easily from Thane railway station. There are interesting places in Navi Mumbai that you can visit in your free time. Some of them are mentioned below.
1) The Balaji Temple located in Nerul is almost the replica of the Tirupati Balaji Temple and also has replicas of few aspects of the Venkateswara temple at Tirupati. It has been built as per the Shilpa Shastra and is situated on a small hill that is close to the western side of the Nerul railway station. Lord Balaji is worshipped in this temple.
2) If you want to find inner peace and admire the 33 feet height tallest idol of Lord Hanuman, then don’t miss out to check the Vishwaroopa Anjaneya Swamy Temple in the SIES (South Indian Education Society) Complex. I have personally been there twice in my life, once with my parents when I had completed my class 10 exams and the second time with my life partner when I was about to get engaged and I must say that the kind of happiness and blessed one feels when you visit the temple is pure and mind-blowing.
3) Central Park also called the Recreational Bonanza has different sections for every purpose. The park is located in Sectors 22, 23 & 24, Kharghar. It has various slides, swings for children, and at the same a refreshing atmosphere for people to spend their quality time with their loved ones.
4) Pandavkada Falls is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The waterfalls provide the freshness and a mind-refreshing break that you were looking for a long time. You can take selfies of enjoying yourself in the background of beautiful landscapes and also find relaxation for the body and mind in this busy life.
