Indian Railways restarts train operations in Punjab

Here is a good news for all farmers in Punjab as Indian Railways has restarted train operations in the city from 23 November 2020.

The national transporter has allowed freight train services to operate with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour for the safety and security reasons.

So since 23 November to 29 November 2020, the Indian Railways is going to run 17 pairs of trains according the the train schedule.

Since September 2020, farmers in the state were against the central government’s new farm laws and were under protest mode. Thus, 2,352 passenger trains were cancelled or diverted.
