Date:

The festival of Dussehra or Vijayadashami just went by. It was after all celebrated for the victory of Lord Rama over Lankesh and thus, establishing dharma over adharma. Lord Rama is indeed a person whom you can adore throughout your life for all the good values that he teaches us, common people, to follow in our lives. For example, he traveled the unexplored path of living in a forest despite being a to-be king. He didn’t get angry or show his frustration with his parents when he was told to take up the vanvas. Instead, he happily agreed. He was self-sacrificial to even ask his wife to leave the kingdom when his people started commenting on her character. He was sarva-guna sampanna in all aspects and that’s why king Rama became Lord Rama for people in all yugas.

3) Shri Sita Ramchandra Swamy Temple, Bhadrachalam

Situated in the Khamman district of Andhra Pradesh, the Shri Sita Ramchandra Swamy Temple is believed to be a place where Lord Rama rested for some time before reaching Lanka so that he could rescue Sita. The temple that’s why has a unique historical background and serves as the greatest pilgrimage centre in India. The temple dates back to the 17th century when Lord Rama’s ardent devotee local tehsildar Kancharla Gopanna, popularly known as Ramdas built the temple.

When you visit Lord Rama temples, make sure to write in a book or some pages “Jai Shri Ram” and keep them in the temple. It is believed that the temple officials when they expand the temple or conduct any homams will use your sacred writings, thus helping you to stay blessed in your life.
