Growth is the natural part of a human’s life. However, growth cannot be standardized for each and every person. Growth stories are different and life’s development can happen at any point in time. There is no fixed rule for growth and people who are on the path of progress look for opportunities every time and everywhere.

Here we will talk about an example of a person for whom growth struck quite late in life but he was delighted that his life evolved and developed for the good. A man who was in his early 20s came from a background where he could afford meals only once a day. His father worked odd jobs and his mother kept unwell the majority of the time. This man had to do odd jobs to pay his school and college fees. 

 

Although coming from almost a poor background, this man graduated with good grades. He went to take up a job that was into marketing. His life changed for the good as he started earning better compared to his previous life experiences. He could eat well and also have some money to open a savings account for his elderly parents. The man didn’t lose hope even when he was fired from his job due to his lack of English fluency.

The man decided to learn English from a top institute by working there. He kept learning new things in his life and started to upgrade himself with new skills and abilities. His verbal communication skills improved to a larger extent and he was hired by another good company in a period of time. He again didn’t lose hope when he didn’t get promoted within the company due to stiff competition.

He in fact decided to learn from his peers how to make effective presentations, talk confidently, and even attract more clients to his company. He started to take up new assignments within the company to show his interest in the company and also show them their skills. His true potential was noticed by the manager of the PR department and his work portfolio got expanded.

He understood that in order to grow in life, one has to keep learning and never stop the learning process thinking that one knows everything. He even decided to attend events, seminars, and conferences to interact with new professionals in the industry. His progress was gradual and it took almost 20 years to have a strong foothold in the market. He eventually got into the assistant managerial level in his field.This encouraged others in his family who were also struggling to meet ends meet with the growing inflation. He decided to open classes for youngsters to learn new skills to become good professionals. He decided to give free lectures to schools and colleges and share his story of growth and development. His humility and understanding of others’ problems helped him gain a good reputation in the market as well in society. His life example is a story of progress, determination, and courage to do well in life.
