Show support to needy children by participating in UNICEF’s Childhood Challenge

Coronavirus has affected people of all over the world. Children are especially the most vulnerable population for the pandemic.

As the healthcare is busy with the COVID-19, focus on children’s health is not more nowadays.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) India works for helping children get good nutrition, education, sanitation and other life-saving supplies.

UNICEF is encouraging people to donate money so that essential services can be provided to children all over the country.

In an Instagram post, UNICEF has asked people to share pictures of their happy childhood memories with the hashtag #childhoodchallenge. They also encouraging people to donate to the organisation, the amount being the year you are born in.

For example, if you are born in the year 2000, then your donation amount can be Rs. 2,000/-

From the donations that UNICEF will collect, it is going to provide poor children and their families with safety kits to deal with the deadly virus, which will include masks, soaps and gloves.
