Buddha Purnima or Buddha’s Birthday is celebrated today all over the world in remembrance of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who later went on to become Gautama Buddha by establishing Buddhism. Today on Poornima, Buddha’s birthday is celebrated by Buddhists and people across East Asia and South Asia.
Buddha gave many life lessons to the world and here we discuss a few of them that can give you a ray of hope in these testing times.
1) Love heals everything. You know hatred cannot be dissolved by hatred but by only LOVE, which is the eternal rule of life.
2) Anyone can say anything about themselves and others but what they do is what matters more. Actions speak louder than words. A wise man is known for his peaceful, loving, and fearless nature.
3) The best way to establish good health is by living completely in the present moment. Not to look at the past and not to worry about the future, just focus your mind on the NOW.

4) Words can heal as well as destroy. Thus, one needs to carefully use their words to change the world.
5) Let things go and whatever is meant to you, will surely come back to you. So, do not worry about losing anything and live life fearfully.
6) No one can save you except yourself. There may be many people who surround you but the only person who can do best for you and walk your path the best possible way is YOU YOURSELF.
7) Be tender and kind to all as having compassions for all reduce suffering and increases happiness in the world.
8) Do not believe in anything and everything that you have been asked to believe or because you have heard it. Observe and analyze and only believe and follow those things that suit your reasoning and make you accept it and live up to it.
