I have seen many people in my life who are well-settled in their careers and personal lives too. But still, they find a lack in their life which makes them feel dissatisfied about the way things keep happening and thus, making them depressed over a period of time. I belong to a family of relatives who have three meals to fill their stomach, a roof over their head, and some savings in the bank. In family life, the couples all have children who are either studying abroad or working in a reputed company.

So, when I meet them at a function or in their homes, I listen to their stories of how they feel lonely despite having everything that a person dreams of having when they are young. So, when they were young, they were quite energetic and dreamt of having all that they have now but after having achieved everything, they still seem to be lost and unhappy with their accomplishments. This is because their thinking has gone old which is able to see the grass is always greener on the other side.

Despite counseling them and encouraging them to have a positive outlook, my family of relatives who are high-achievers in their lives has now become big-time critics of everything they have and everyone they meet. So, the lesson I learned while spending my time with senior people in my life is that life is just a cycle of dramas that keep happening and pushing us to set a new goal after we accomplish the earlier goals.
We need to keep moving ahead and play our respective roles in every situation that pops up in our life due to the presence of different types of people in our lives in the form of relatives and friends. We are here for a brief period of time just so that we can enjoy and experience the process.
