Know how things have changed to watch movies in post Covid era

Since mid-March 2020, cinema goers have faced a huge lack in their life as they have not been able to visit the theatres till mid-October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As the government has eased the restrictions of lockdown and have given a nod to open the theatres in many states, let’s take a look at what has changed in post-coronavirus era.

In Delhi, the movie experience has seen a huge change. As per a report, if a person goes to the main cinema building and stands outside the ticket counter, which is also called as Box Office, he won’t get the physical copy of the tickets as the ticket booking has been made fully digital.

Wearing of masks is mandatory once you enter the building of the theatre. Sanitizers have been kept at short distances in a theatre to be used by both the staff and the cinema viewers.

Now popcorn and other food near the theatre is served using a sealed container so that the food is maintaining hygienic standards.

Seating capacity of the theatres are only half in order to follow the safety measures of the pandemic.

The idea is to reduce the fear of catching the virus from the people’s minds and encourage them to consider watching movies in theatres.
