Tamil cinema superstar Vikram has been hospitalized today on Friday after he complained of discomfort due to high fever symptoms. Vikram’s publicist confirmed to the media about the same. Vikram has been admitted to Kauvery hospital in Chennai. Vikram’s upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan: I’s teaser launch event was to be held today. Vikram’s publicist rubbished the reports of the actor has got a heart attack and claimed that he is doing fine now. Vikram will be discharged soon, as per some reports. As he has an upcoming movie Cobra to be released on 11th August and Ponniyin Selvan to release on 30th September this year.

Vikram is also set to collaborate with director Pa. Ranjith for the first time. It is reported that the film will be made on a massive budget and happen to be India’s largest 3D film and distributed as a pan-Indian film. 2) Vikram’s real name is Kennedy John Victor.
However, he didn’t like his original name and thus, got named Vikram when he entered the film industry. He was born to a Christian father and a Hindu mother. He took inspiration from his father John Victor / Vinod Raj to take acting seriously. His father used to work in supporting roles in Tamil films and television serials. However, Vikram ensured to become professionally skilled in all dance and acting forms and aimed to become a lead actor.
3) Vikram possesses a degree in English literature.
It was Vikram’s passion to enter the film industry that made him what he is today. It was during his college days that Vikram got hit by a truck and was injured severely. But despite the injuries and being bedridden for many years, he didn’t give up hope to lead a normal life and made his entry into films with full determination and commitment.

5) Vikram has a son and a daughter from his wife Shailaja Balakrishnan. His son Dhruv entered the film industry with the film Adithya Varma which is the official remake of the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy. Vikram resides in Besant Nagar, near the beach in Chennai, and had said that he would live in Chennai only irrespective of the offers he gets from other language movies.
