After riding in a scooter for 300 km from Indore to Maharashtra to treat his unwell mother, a student scored an amazing 87% in her class 12 board exams.
During the lockdown, Shubhangi Patil from Indore in Madhya Pradesh had to carry her mother on a scooter to leave her at her maternal home for treatment purpose.
From there, she came back again to Indore to write her board exams. Despite this struggle, she scored such high marks in the board exams.
This made her qualify for an amount of Rs. 25,000 under the chief minister’s laptop scheme, says a report.
However, Shubhangi lost her mother in June due to severe illness. Her father passed away in 2009 due to kidney failure.
Shubhangi lives with her elder sister and she hopes to use the money received under the scheme for her future college fees.
