Due to a declining trend in coronavirus cases all over the country, many parts or states are planning to reopen and are encouraging some sectors to have employees working from the office. If your company is still not prepared for work from the office and asking you to stay indoors and give their work and achieve your work deadlines, you need to take extra care of your health.
Staying indoors is a good way to avoid the risk of contracting coronavirus disease. However, a long time of working on your laptop or computer and watching web series or movies on OTT platforms or television is not good for your eye and overall health. Hence, it is recommended that you take some precautionary measures to keep your eye health good.
1) After every one hour of your exposure to your laptop, make sure you close your eyes for 15-20 seconds and open them. Repeat the exercise quite often and throughout the day.
2) If you can, get up after every one or two hours of working with your laptop and wash your eyes whenever you feel they are getting dry or itchy.
3) Make sure to eat well and sleep well. Add these foods to your regular diet like spinach, kale salad, green leafy vegetables, carrots, beetroots, etc as they reduce the risk of getting any eye-related disorders.

5) Blink as much as often in between regular intervals and do not apply any eye drops or eat any vitamin pills. Natural sunlight exposure and regular physical activities go a long way in sustaining good health.
6) Spend time with your pets or family. Do not isolate yourself so much that you forget to live a life. Connect with friends on video calls and talk about something meaningful and interesting with them.
