Coronavirus pandemic is becoming scarier than last year. The numbers of cases and deaths are both worrying and now recent reports are coming of black fungus and white fungus cases on coronavirus recovered patients, which is making the situation more depressing as and as days pass by.
Here are some tips on how you can control yourself and have a stable mind despite the coronavirus pandemic.
1) Slow down in your life. If you are not liking your current job and the way your relationships are shaping up, you can ask for a break. Don’t think much because the current times are quite demanding and frustrating and hence, taking a break is always a good option than quitting everything forever.
2) Do what you like and like what you do. If you like what you do, you will stay away from the many thoughts that arise when you do things that are not of your interest. The more engaged you keep your mind in any task that you do, the better you will feel from within.
3) Avoid social media and news channels. Seriously, it has been observed that the more you disconnect from the disturbing reality, the less likely you will feel depressed and you can focus all your positive energies on creating something meaningful while you are at home.
4) Quit bad habits like smoking, drinking, or any sort of addiction that makes you feel vulnerable to the current situation. It is okay to err, it is okay to make mistakes, it is okay to feel vulnerable but it is not okay to live with such situations forever. If you think you are a part of anything that is not serving you anymore, then it is time to quit doing the thing without any guilt. At the end of the day, your life matters too.
5) Positive and self-help books or articles can make you feel good and better. It can give you a ray of hope at a place where everything is being very pathetic and dreadful.
