If there is one thing that people have been suffering hugely in today’s times then it is no other thing than low self-confidence or low self-esteem. People think confident people are those who talk freely, laugh often, and are always carefree in their attitude. Well, that’s not true for all. There are many who may appear to be very confident when they talk or write but when it comes to reality, they suffer from huge self-esteem issues that don’t allow them to enter into new relationships, not take up a new job and not commit to long-term.

Self-confident people are not always born with that quality due to family situations and their upbringing. Even the most confident people at a point in time have felt low and like a loser, but that doesn’t stop them from trying. Try and try until you succeed, is the quote that really applies if you have failed miserably in any or all spheres of your life. In order to develop an assertive attitude and have self-confidence, you can try following these steps:
1) Daily morning when you see yourself in the mirror, just tell yourself that ‘I love you’ and accept yourself the way you are. If you are thin or fat or average-looking as per your thoughts, just remove these labels from your mind and focus on developing a strong self.

2) Write a journal daily on how you felt throughout the day and what you want to do the next day to make it a good day. Read your thinking patterns and try to inculcate positive self-talk so that you can overcome your negative thinking and behavior over a period of time.
3) Scrap those daily dramas of family or relationships that are shown in serial from your life and try watching inspiring serials and movies on YouTube that will help you to feel encouraged and good from within.
Last but not the least, do not give up in whatever situation in life. Just keep trying and giving your best!
