How to become spiritually strong in natural ways

For example, if you visit any nearby temple, you will find many flower shops that will ask you to buy the flowers and prasad at a cost that you will find is too much for just one plate of flowers.

Spirituality is the most misunderstood concept in modern times. Well, I shouldn't be shy to accept the fact that commercialization has entered the spiritual and religious sectors as well. For example, if you visit any nearby temple, you will find many flower shops that will ask you to buy the flowers and prasad at a cost that you will find is too much for just one plate of flowers. Same way, if you plan to book a pooja for your loved one's birthday, you will find that also costly considering the pooja has to be conducted within the temple premises and all arrangements will be made by the temple officials only.

Why Spiritual Experiences are Most Important in life?

So, if you think practically, these things are too much to hit the pocket of a common man and this is one of the reasons why people are dropping out to follow their religious practices in the 21st century. I am not here to debate the fact of why the cost is more or less but to share with you why you shouldn't fall into this trap that visiting a temple and performing religious practices will only make you spiritual. Because there are many versions of spirituality, I will give you here a simple and natural version of how you are still spiritual if you haven't done things as per how what has been prescribed to you by elderly people in the house or by the people working in the religious sector. Please note, that I am not against any existing traditions or rituals present but the article is only to encourage people to start trusting in God.

Bhadraj Temple: An ideal spot in Mussoorie

1) When things mess up in your life, you pray to God in your own ways and ask for ways to come out of the problem. It can be as simple as lighting up the Diya and kneeling down before God.

2) When you get something amazing in your life, like a salary increment, a love letter from your crush, a degree that you earned after most hard efforts, you thank God again for doing all that they could so that you could receive the results.

3) When you call a friend and he says that he has been unwell for a long time, you give him the needed courage to deal with his problem and go online and do a donation to a temple you believe the most or keep aside 11 rs at home to put in the hundi box of a nearby temple you visit the most.

4) When you get an appreciation letter from your boss saying that you are an asset to the company and you reciprocate the letter saying it was a team work and you thank God for blessing you with confidence and skills to complete the work and don't take all the credit alone.

These are the simplest forms of expressing your spirituality and trust towards God and yes, they don't require any huge costs or time efforts. So, what do you think? Are you spiritually strong despite not being a part of any religious tour or yatra? Let us know in the comments below your views.
