Well, gone are the days when people used to encourage others to step outside their homes if they want to stay fit and fine. Enter January 2020 a virus called Covid-19, which wreaked havoc in everyone’s lives, making people suffer like anything at home-isolation, testing centres, covid-centres, crematoriums, and where not!
Yes, it is a fact that we have to stay at home now and for more months, till we get rid of the coronavirus forever. The sooner we accept this reality of our lives, the better for us. Aren’t we quite literate and educated to acknowledge that roaming outside can lead us to various unnecessary troubles? We are being time and again, advised by the government officials to stay at home and step outside only during an emergency and that too wearing a mask, carrying a sanitizer, and following social distancing. It is indeed the protocols that have to be followed no matter what.
So there is a lot of debate going on everywhere that how is it possible to stay indoors and also keep ourselves healthy because we need fresh air, sunlight for our body, which is also right. However, now you have to adjust to whatever you have with you right now. If your home has windows, keep it open in the morning hours and get that fresh air which you are looking for and the sunlight if possible. If your home is not well-ventilated and lacks access to sunlight, then you can stand in front of your cooking gas and prepare some dishes as it will give you the needed heat energy. If you don’t like cooking, then you can take a steam or inhale hot water to feel the heat for your face and body.
Necessity is the mother of invention, so if there are no resources then you can create things as per your requirements. You can still have a healthy lifestyle by walking and exercising at home, eating the right foods at the right time, and sleeping for a good number of hours to give rest to your body and mind.
