People all over the country celebrate the 9 days of Navratri festival in the most grand manner possible. After all, the celebration is dedicated to Goddess Shakti and her feminine divinity.

You can consume all types of fruits during the nine days of the festival. However, ensure that you also keep your body hydrated by drinking a sufficient quantity of water. 

You can also avoid taking table salt in your food preparations. Instead, you can make use of rock salt for preparing the foods that would be consumed during fasting.

You are allowed to eat all types of vegetables during the festival. However, it is advisable to avoid eating onion and garlic during festive times. Yeah and non-vegetarian foods are a strict NO NO. You can also give up the habit of drinking even moderate alcohol during Navratri. Just avoid non-vegetarian and any form of addictive habit during these nine days.

It will also help you to participate in the chanting of prayers and bhajans organized during Navratri at various locations with full dedication and sincerity.
